Decksy account deletion
You can delete your Decksy account and associated data directly inside the Decksy app.
- Open the Decksy app.
- Go to Settings.
- Open Account.
- Select Delete account.
- Follow the confirmation steps.
You can delete your Decksy flashcards without deleting your account.
In the Decksy app, go to Settings and select the option to delete your flashcards. This removes your flashcard content while keeping your Decksy account active.
Deleting flashcards does not delete your account, authentication data, subscription status, workspace memberships, or records that may be retained where legally required.
If you no longer have access to the Decksy app, you can request account deletion by contacting us at support@decksy.io from the email address connected to your Decksy account.
When your account is deleted, Decksy deletes the following data associated with your account:
- Account profile
- Authentication data
- Personal app data
- Generated study content
- Workspace memberships
- Related usage data associated with your account
Some records may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, payment or regulatory compliance purposes.
- Legal compliance records
- Security and fraud prevention records
- Tax and accounting records
- Payment and regulatory compliance records
This may include records needed for payment history, subscription administration, fraud prevention, dispute handling, tax reporting, accounting, security auditing or legal compliance.
Where data is processed by third-party service providers, such as Apple, Google Play or Stripe, retention may also be subject to their own legal and operational requirements.
Deletion requests are handled within a reasonable period, normally within 30 days after we have verified the request.
